Paynes Creek Campground - Lake Hartwell

Paynes Creek Campground is located on Lake Hartwell, Georgia. Paynes Creek features 42 campsites all with electrical and water hookups. Most of the campsites are lakefront. Amenities include, showers, restrooms, dump station and park attendant. Paynes Creek Campground offers many outdoor recreational activities to enjoy along with your stay at Lake Hartwell. For boaters there is a boat ramp and courtesy dock that provides easy access to the lake. For bikers and hikers there is a 7.2 mile biking and hiking trail. After a hike or bike ride you can cool off in the waters of Lake Hartwell at one of the two swimming beachs located at the campground. There is also a playground available for the kids.

Camp rates are $24 - $52 per night depending on the number of campers and size of campsite. Camp gates are open 7 AM - 10PM. There is no camp entry or exit between the hours of 10 PM - 7 AM. Pets are allowed but must be on a lease or penned at all times.
