Sadlers Creek State Park - Lake Hartwell

Sadlers Creek State Park is a 396 acre South Carolina State Park located at Lake Hartwell. The state park offers a wide range of outdoor recreational opportunities including, camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, hiking, biking, picnicking, and nature watching. Park admission fees are $2 for adults, $1.25 for seniors and children 15 & younger are admitted free of charge. There are a total of 66 campsites available at Sadlers Creek State Park. 52 of the campsites feature water and electrical hookups and can accommodate RV and tent campers. There are also 14 designated tent campsites with a central water source available. Additional camp amenities include showers, restrooms, and a dump station. Camp rates are $15 – $19 per nite for standard sites and $11 – $13 per nite for designated tent sites. Reservations are recommended. Call (866) 345-7275 for campsite reservations.

In addition to camping many outdoor recreational opportunities are available at the park. For cyclists there is a 5.2 mile biking trail. For nature lovers there is a hiking trail and a nature trail located within the park. 2 boat ramps are available providing easy access to the waters of Lake Hartwell. The park has 2 playground areas for the kids.

Sadlers Creek State Park has 2 picnic shelters available that can accommodate large gatherings. Picnic shelter reservation rates are $30 - $38 per day. If no shelters are reserved they are available on a first come first serve basis with no fee. To insure a shelter is available for your group reservations are recommended. Fishing is favorite activity for many visitors to Sadler Creek State Park. The park features a large fishing pier for easy access to the lake if you don't have a boat. Common fish species caught are bass, sunfish, catfish and striper. A valid South Carolina or Georgia Fishing license is required.
